" I would like to let you know that after a recent visit to the Wayfarers
I have never had food as good. My wife and I were on holiday and decided
to take a walk along the waterways with our two dogs. After the walk we
decided to have some food and drink at your establishment. It was the best
choice we ever made. The sandwiches were real, honest and fresh as ever.
Not a sign of pre packed ingredients. Fresh home baked bread and home roast
beef! Yum!
After spending a while relaxing in the eating area outside and talking to
the gentleman who owns the place we left.
As we walked along the road to where we were parked and were starting to
load the dogs into the back of the Range Rover I could see the same gentleman
running along the road. I then noticed he was carrying something.........my
wife had only left her bag on the floor outside.
I would like to thank you for the warm welcome, the great food and honesty
which is becoming more rare in today's society.
Kindest regards,
Andrew and Cheryl Robertson and Storm and Taima (The Rottys) "
"Passed the Wayfarers by luck on a dismal weekend in November. Excellent
service, fantasic and delicious range of home prepared and cooked food (especially
the Brownies!). Couldn't ask for anything more. Phone first for their opening
times at this time of year. I was probably a bit lucky with my timing. Tel
01692 630 633. Clare and Ian, the proprietors are hoping within reason,
to make it an all year round venture. I'll be saving the number for future
visits. Had hoped to make their lunchtime roast on the Sunday, but alas
I didn't - my loss. ENJOY!"
"It was nice to see a full house on Sunday evening - luckily we booked
Well worth a visit as the food was excellent, the taste as good as the presentation, with a good house wine at a reasonable price!"
"Will definitely visit again. Service and general attention was first
class, as was the food."
"Called in this afternoon for coffee and was made very welcome.
Newly decorated and furnished with a nice Bistro atmosphere."
